Who is legally responsible for each draw?
The fundraiser who creates the draw is the promoter and bears ultimate legal responsibility. DrawFunder provides tools to help them run draws compliantly, but does not replace the fundraiser's own duty of care.
How does the charity know about the draw?
Every DrawFunder draw is connected to the fundraiser's own fundraising page on JustGiving, Enthuse or GiveWheel — a page the fundraiser has already set up in support of a specific charity. All donations from entrants flow directly to that page, so the charity receives the funds (plus Gift Aid where eligible, and net of the provider's own fees) through their existing, authorised fundraising channel. DrawFunder never collects money on the charity's behalf and takes 0% of donations. Fundraisers remain responsible for following the charity's own fundraising guidelines, but because the money moves via a page the charity already accepts donations through, no separate authorisation of the draw itself is required.
