Terms & Conditions

Terms for using the DrawFunder platform and entering prize draws

DrawFunder is a technology platform that enables promoters to run transparent prize draws for fundraising purposes. DrawFunder acts solely as a technology provider and is not the promoter of any prize draw hosted on this platform.

1

Platform Role

DrawFunder provides software infrastructure that allows promoters to create and run prize draws.

DrawFunder is not the promoter of any prize draw and does not organise, manage, or operate individual draws.

Each prize draw is independently operated by the promoter identified on the draw page.

2

Promoter Responsibilities

The promoter of each prize draw is the individual or organisation that creates and publishes the draw on the DrawFunder platform. The promoter is legally responsible for:

Ensuring their prize draw complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including UK gambling and consumer protection laws.

Providing accurate information about the prize, draw date, and entry conditions.

Contacting the winner and arranging prize delivery.

Including a free entry route and operating the draw as a prize draw rather than a lottery.

3

Entry Rules

Entries may be made by donation (paid) or via the free entry route. No purchase is necessary to enter.

Free entries and paid entries are entered into the same draw pool and have an equal chance of winning.

Each entry is assigned a unique entry reference when it is created. Final draw ticket numbers are assigned to eligible entries when the draw closes.

Donation-based entries become eligible for the draw once the promoter has confirmed the donation against their own fundraising page. DrawFunder does not independently verify donations with the fundraising provider.

The draw closes on the date shown on the individual draw page.

After the draw closes, the winner is selected at random from all valid entries using a certified random number generator.

The winner is contacted using the details provided at the time of entry.

4

Prize Fulfilment

The promoter is solely responsible for providing and delivering the prize to the winner. DrawFunder does not supply, guarantee, or fulfil prizes listed in prize draws.

Any dispute regarding prize quality, delivery, or fulfilment must be resolved between the entrant and the promoter.

DrawFunder is not liable for any failure by a promoter to deliver a prize.

5

Donations

Donations are made directly to the charity via the fundraiser's connected fundraising page (JustGiving, Enthuse or GiveWheel). DrawFunder never handles, holds, or processes payments, and takes 0% of donations. The fundraising provider's own fees may apply.

DrawFunder does not store payment card details.

Donations are generally non-refundable and are governed by the terms of the fundraising platform used. If a draw is cancelled by the promoter before entries close, refund requests should be raised via the fundraising platform.

6

Liability

DrawFunder's liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

DrawFunder is not responsible for errors, omissions, or misrepresentations made by promoters on their draw pages.

DrawFunder reserves the right to remove any draw that does not comply with these terms or applicable law.

7

Data Protection

DrawFunder collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.

Entry data is used solely for the purposes of administering the draw and contacting the winner.

DrawFunder is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

All prize draws hosted on the DrawFunder platform must include a free entry route and operate as prize draws rather than lotteries. Promoters who fail to comply with this requirement may have their draw removed from the platform.
